My Bio
Art is a journey, each object each painting needs to be approached with the belief that this work is going to teach you something about you, or art. You also must realize as an artist you will always be in a state of learning, with this in mind do not fear failure but embrace the experience of learning art. One of my professors said something that really stuck with me, to paraphrase. " Don't say this subject is boring. This still life is boring. This assignment is boring. If you are a boring person you will have a boring subject. An artist is supposed to take his subject and make it great. " - DFB, a great encouragement in my art.

I work in mulitple mediums of art, including but not limited to Acrylic Painting, Digital, Pen & Ink, Watercolor Pencil, Oil Pastel, Photography, Stop Motion, Silk Screen, Printmaking and Pencil.

My subjects range from Impressionism, Expressionism, Fantasy Art, Surrealism, and Cityscapes.

Day 10

It was nice to finish a complete work. Perhaps I should try to finish a drawing completely every so often.

Busy day at school, finals week. I did start painting in Procreate. I’m going to post what ever I have finished by bed time on Day 9. I also started working on concept ideas for my comic.

Day 7

I’m not happy with my tree ent, however, I’m posting it for a few reasons. 1. To attempt to get used to accepting an unfinished work. 2. To show my students / fellow artists my journey in art, in hopes it my encourage others. 3. To create the habit of drawing and posting daily. Side note. I worked very loosely from a few drawings none with shading and that’s where my motivation died. With the shading.
